If you are looking for a quick and easy layout check out this one for today’s challenge.
This card came together in under 10 minutes including the time it took to cut the paper. (Okay it took me about 15 minutes to choose the papers and stamps, in addition to the 10 minutes to actually make the card)
When I cut the strips for the front, I had some scraps left over and I recut them to make a little edger on the inside of the card to match the front. Do you think there should be a white layer added too for writing on ? I’m undecided if it needs it or not.
Here are the measurements that I used:
- Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Patterned Paper 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Cardstock Strip 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Greeting Matte 2 3/8″ x 1 1/4″
- Greeting 2 1/4″ x 1″
- Inside Patterned Paper 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Inside Cardstock 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
The greeting and stamped image are from the Translucent Florals stamp set. I love the Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock color combo, don’t you?
