Swap Card Friday

Tonight is our annual family Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party. I wish that I had some more Halloween cards to share but I’ve already shared all of the fun Halloween card swaps that I received. Let’s see what I can pull out of my Swap Card Box for you today.

Christmas Season swap by Anna Palmer

Anna’s card features the fun Christmas Season Bundle with a greeting from the Unto You stamp set. It’s just gorgeous and every time I look at her card I want to order this set! The Painted Christmas Suite has 2 bundles and I promised myself that I would only purchase one of them. But, darn the Seasonal Label Die are down right AWESOME. I love how it has the little die to make the slots for the ribbon. Having a separate die for the slots give more options on ways to use the labels. The background is embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and the pretty Cherry Cobbler & Gold Ribbon is also part of the Painted Christmas Suite. Wouldn’t this make a great Thanksgiving card as well, by switching the ink colors for the leaves to orange and yellows and swapping the Christmas greeting for a Thanksgiving one?

Peaceful Place Swap by Karla Larson

I love how Karla used the circle of the cabin from the Peaceful Place Designer Paper for the focal point on this card. The background is embossed with the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder. The pretty pine trees on the strip are from the Peaceful Prints Sale-A-Bration Reward Designer paper.

Hope you have a great day! Maybe you can celebrate one of the weird holidays today? National Cat Day, National Breadstick Day, or maybe have a bowl of oatmeal and celebrate National Oatmeal Day, hahaha.
