Get out the Blending Brushes and a pack of Post it Notes to create this fun card. Great for a fall wedding or anniversary. I’ve become addicted to this Masking Technique! I’ve shared several cards made using this technique and even made a Masking Strip Technique Video.

The greeting didn’t fit in the white space, lol, no preplanning done on this card! To pull in a bit of the blue from the pretty Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, the greeting is masked with a bit of Misty Moonlight cardstock. To add just a little elegance, a piece of Gold Shimmer Ribbon was wrapped around the white space at the bottom. I think it balanced off the greeting well.

My thought for the week is to LISTEN. I have a horrible habit of not REALLY listening to people. My mind is busy with my own thoughts and I only half listen to what is being said. After only one day of focusing on really listening, I’m so much happier and feel more connected. I had a wonderful afternoon with my grandson Isaac!
