I spent my morning pulling weeds in my gardens and it put me in a green mood. As I was looking at my shelf trying to decide which stamp set to use today, the Growth Takes Time set really called to me. Gardening takes patients and time, but is so relaxing for me.

This card is clean and simple, perfect to fit the greeting on this card.

To get the shortened greeting, several pieces of scotch tape were layered over the unwanted words before inking the stamp and then the tape was removed before stamping. Lately there have been so many little tree sprouts like the first tree image all over the lawn and gardens. It makes me feel like a tree murderer when mowing the lawn, lol.

I’ve colored the trees with Stampin’ Blend Markers in Granny Apple, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie colors. They were stamped with Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Basic White that is 4″ x 5 1/4″. The base is Copper Clay.

The inside has a sprinkling can colored in Lemon Lolly and Poppy Parade on a 3″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic White.
I hope that you have enjoyed this simple card. Hope you have a wonderful day.
