I have to admit that I don’t like to make sympathy cards. One would think that as we get older, death would get easier, but I find that it’s getting harder. Perhaps because of suffering from depression, or maybe it’s just because I hate change and losing people is a big change. Today’s card combines three stamp sets. Two are retired Sale-a-bration sets, from which I pulled the greetings. The other is the beautiful Grassy Grove stamp set and Grove Dies.

I started with one of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP rectangles. I wish that there was a whole sheet of this design! Then I added some die cut trees from the Grassy Grove Bundle. The card was left without any embellishments. The sympathy greeting is from the Special Moments SAB stamp set.

This deer is from the Grassy Grove set and the greeting is from the SAB Sending Support set, both use the new Pecan Pie colored ink. The card base is Wild Wheat.
