The Stampin’ Up! catalog is a great resource not only for purchasing products but also for generating ideas. The card below was inspired by a sample in the catalog which uses a totally different stamp set and papers.

This card uses scraps of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper which were 2″ wide and cut down to 4″ long. The edge of each piece was die cut with the border die from the Zany Zoo Dies.

Above is the original sample that I’ve been inspired by to create my card.

The elephant made me think of tassels and rich colors so I made a little tassel by wrapping Linen Thread around two fingers several times, tying one end and cutting the other end. It’s attached with a glue dot to the back of the greeting label. The greeting labels are die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The elephant is a piece of the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper which has been cut with circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Some gold sequins were sprinkled around for a little shine.

There was a little koala left on the piece that I cut the elephant from so I die cut it and added to the inside of the card.
