Happy hump day! The sun is sort of shinning and I’m hoping that the smoke from the Canadian wildfires is clearing. As an asthma sufferer the poor air quality has been slowing me down. I feel like I move like a snail in the first place, and even slower means not getting anything done at all! Good thing that stamping doesn’t involve too much exercise!

Today’s pretty birthday card features items from the Fresh as a Daisy Suite. It’s a perfect time to be making daisy cards as the daisies are just starting to bloom in the garden. This pretty daisy panel comes from the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper and all I had to do was cut the panel out of the 12″ x 12″ sheet. Then it was mounted onto a 4 1/8″ square of Garden Green paper.

The two foliage sprigs were die cut with the Cheerful Daisy Dies one of Garden Green and the other Pretty Peacock. A double bow of Linen Thread was attached with a glue dot. I was very proud of myself for making a double bow, because all I remembered was to wrap the ribbon around my fingers and then somehow (?) tie it between my fingers. The greeting is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink on a Bubble Bath label also die cut with one of the Cheerful Daisy Dies and popped up with dimensionals. The 1/4″ strip of paper under the greeting is the backside of one of the designs from the Fresh as a Daisy paper.
This card was super easy to make and came together quickly. Hope it inspires you to do some crafting. Have a great day.
