Today I’m playing with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder for the STARS bi-monthly challenge. To create the background for this card, first ink was added to the inside of the embossing folder with sponge daubers.

Three colors were used; Mossy Meadow, Pebbled Path, and Copper Clay. They were added randomly on the embossing folder. Very Vanilla cardstock was used.

After embossing, Versamark ink was added with a sponge dauber and Copper Embossing Powder was heat embossed onto the panel. The photos just don’t catch the depth, color and shine of the embossed piece. To pull out the Copper Clay color the base and greeting ink were done in Copper Clay as well.

The lantern from the Lighting the Way Die set was cut from Basic Black cardstock and a small piece of vellum was fussy cut to fit to create the lantern glass. It was colored with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker and adhered with liquid glue to the backside of the lantern to give it a nice glow.
