I hope that you all had a wonderful 4th of July! The weather was awesome this weekend and okay on the 4th at our cabin in Minnesota. Today and tomorrow I’ll be sharing more of the cards from the online demonstrator event from a couple of weekends ago.

For this card the flower petals and one leaf were die cut from vellum that had been colored with a Stampin’ Blend Marker. I liked this method of coloring the vellum MUCH better than stamping on it. The Splatters embossing folder from the Stripes and Splatters duo was used here and the Deckled Rectangles Dies. Some Pastel Adhesive Backed Gems and a single black Neutrals Dot embellishment were added as a final step.

The stepped up version during the event used the Vellum Basics Special Designer Series Paper, which I didn’t have, so I used a retired patterned vellum for the larger flower. To switch it up a bit, I used the other embossing folder from the set (Stripes).

Here’s a photo of part of our group from the event. This is my reason for being a demonstrator! I absolutely love getting together with others who love crafting!
