Now onto my last set of cards from the demo event.

I’ll admit that I wouldn’t have chosen gray for a congratulations card but this design is pretty. Two of the pretty leaf sprigs are stamped in Garden Green and die cut, then layered onto the card base. Three twigs are stamped in Granite Gray directly onto the base. The leaves are popped up with dimensionals and the greeting has one dimension on top of the leaves and a stack of two dimensionals where it is adhered directly to the card base.

The stepped up version was supposed to have embossing paste added using a stencil created by die cutting some of the little leaves onto a piece of cardstock. I didn’t have any embossing paste so…instead of using the die cut leaf layer as a stencil I used it as a card layer and added White ink to the areas under the leaf die cuts with a Blending Brush. I really liked the way it turned out! Both cards have some of the Neutrals Dots Embellishments and I added a tiny white baker’s twine bow to the final one.
