Today’s card is a quick thank you note using the Wildlife Wonder stamp set. I know that I have 2 packs of note cards and envelopes BUT after being unable to find them, I am beginning to suspect that I left them in Florida. Anyway…this card began with a 7″ x 5″ piece of Basic White Thick paper and was scored at 3 1/2″ to create my note card base.
A 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ piece of the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper is layered onto the base. The stamped image is on a Basic White die cut, done with the largest rectangle in the Nested Essentials Die set. Early Espresso ink was used to stamp the images.
I’m getting excited in anticipation of a couple of events that I have coming up. The first is a demonstrator event the end of July at which the CEO of Stampin’ Up! will be presenting here in Minnesota! It’s only a 50 minute drive from my house, yippee! Next, is my Camping & Stamping event. This is a first time stamping event that I’m hosting at my teeny tiny cabin on Lake Washington near Dassel Minnesota. I only have room for 5 stampers but darn, we’re going to have fun!
Also, have I mentioned that there is a Holiday Catalog coming out in September? I’ve already gotten two Christmas sets from the recent online only release and I’m excited to see what other goodies will be available.
As a demonstrator, we get to see the catalogs and preorder a month early. Becoming a demonstrator is as easy as purchasing a Starter Kit. After that it can be as simple as placing your own orders or as difficult as becoming a million dollar achiever, but one thing is for sure, demonstrators are a friendly creative bunch.
