Birthday Circles

Today’s card was inspired by the Seize the Birthday Challenge. The cute Rhino Ready stamp set is one of the online exclusives by Stampin’ Up!

I stamped one of each of the three rhinos from the Rhino Ready stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink, each on a different color of cardstock; Smoky Slate, Gray Granite , and Basic Gray.

The 2″ circles are punched out of the pretty Naturally Gilded Speciality paper, another online exclusive. The base is one of the 2022-2024 In-Colors, Parakeet Party and the next layer is done in Wild Wheat, a 2023-2025 In-Color. The Wild Wheat layer has the edges sponged with Wild Wheat ink and is embossed with the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder. I’ve used my new favorite die set again, the Nested Essentials Dies with the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper. The chevron design and gray colors of this design from the Earthen Elegance DSP fit so well with the rhino theme. All of the punched and die cut layers are also lightly sponged with the Wild Wheat ink. The greeting is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Very Vanilla paper and it is punched with a retired 1 1/2″ Circle Punch.

Inside the greeting and images are stamped with Tuxedo Black ink. A tiny bow of Linen Thread and a few Rustic Metallic gems finish off the card.
