Well it’s the last day of July and the last day to take advantage of the Bonus Days Special, to save some money on your orders for August. It’s also the last day for me to complete the DOstamperSTARS monthly challenge. For this portion of the challenge I had to create a card using a Punch.

I’ve chosen the Trucking Along Bundle. Right now, the punch is out of stock but is due in mid-October, so if you want to purchase it, shoot me your email and I will notify you when it comes in. For this card, I wanted to make a fairly simple card (NOT EASY FOR ME!!) I always find myself adding more, and more… This card uses 2 ink colors; Pebbled Path and Misty Moonlight. Four paper colors; Lemon Lolly, Pebbled Path, Basic White, and Misty Moonlight. And the Trucking Along Bundle which includes a photopolymer stamp set with 26 stamps and the Truck Builder Punch.

There are many two-step stamps in this set! The truck is stamped first in Pebbled Path with the outline stamp and then the the fill in stamp is inked with Misty Moonlight and stamped off first before stamping over the outline on the Misty Moonlight paper. The tires are stamped with Pebbled Path. Pebbled Path ink is used for all of the background images with the stamp for inside of the guard rails being stamped off before stamping inside of the outline. The greeting is also inked with the Pebbled Path color.
Paper Dimensions:
- Base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Pebbled Path 4 5/8″ x 2 7/8″
- Basic White 4 1/2″ x 2 3/4″

This was my first attempt at creating this card and I don’t like it, but I wanted to point out a few things that I did like. The two-step trees are AWESOME! I love the way that they color in. Also, if you want a frosty window, punch out a piece of vellum and adhere with liquid glue, lol. The white lines on this image were added with a chalk marker. The punch also has a tire and fender as well as the window. The fenders are popped up with dimensionals.
