This week I couldn’t decide between two beautiful cards featuring the Cheerful Daisies Bundle, so I decided to show them both. They both feature the large daisy die cut done from Basic White paper and have the Brushed Brass Butterflies embellishments and they both have embossed backgrounds.
Becky’s card uses the Painted Textures 3D Embossing folder on a a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock and the bottom half of the background is a piece of the Fresh As a Daisy Designer Series Paper. I like the additional Basic White matting layer.
The vellum circle is die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies and adds a perfect summer sun feeling to the card. The Distressed Gold branch and Brushed Brass Butterfly add a bit of sparkle.
I’m sorry to say that I lost the tag for this second swap card, and don’t know who created it. If you are the creator please let me know and I’ll give you credit. This card uses Crushed Curry as the yellow color whereas the first card used Lemon Lolly, which does give it a bit different feel. The Timber 3D Embossing folder is used here. I’m not sure if the color is added to the embossing folder before embossing or if it is added to the paper with a Blending Brush after embossing but it looks gorgeous.
