This card uses the Circle Sayings Bundle to create a card that looks special but is really very simple to create.

To create the opening in the card front, simply slide the 2 3/8″ circle punch in as far as it will go, from the open edge, center it up and down a punch. To create the frame, start with a 3 1/4″ square, punch the center with the 2 3/8″ circle punch and then die cut a 3″ circle around the opening to create the frame.

The sun over the ocean image is simply stamped through the hole in the front to get the correct placement. I’ve used Watercolor Pencils to lightly color the sun and water.

The Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper is cut 5 1/2″ x 3″ and left it just a bit away from the edge so that the base color showed through. Do you think that I should add a few gems below the circle on the Tahitian Tide? Hmm…
