Do you ever want to jazz up a card to make it a look fancy? The Elegant Borders Dies are a great way to add some elegance to a card.

I’ve chosen to use the Perched in a Tree stamp set and coordinating Aspen Tree Dies to decorate this tri-fold card. A belly band holds it closed and the bird perches on the belly band.

This pretty patterned paper is from the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper pack. At first glance the Inked Botanicals DSP doesn’t seem to have a fall theme but it can be depending on what it is combined with. The paper colors are: Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink and Pool Party. The first three are all great fall colors.

Here’s a view o the inside of the card. Lots of room for a message. The bird is colored with the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blend Markers.
