The pretty leaves are already falling and it makes me appreciate how quickly time goes. Moments with friends are so important! Take time to meet up and enjoy a walk or cup of coffee with a friend that you haven’t seen in awhile.
This card uses a couple of different coloring methods and the double time stamping technique. The two Basic White layers were stacked together, without the matting layer between and the stamping was done to create the layering effect. A blending brush was used to add Pebbled Path ink to the bottom and Balmy Blue to the top to create a colored background. The trees and main image were colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.
The main image is from the coffee with Friends stamp set and the trees are from the Growth Takes Time set, an online exclusive item. Three sequins are add because we girls need some bling!
Paper Dimensions:
- Pecan Pie Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Pecan Pie 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Basic White 3″ x 4″
- Basic White Inner Layer 2″ x 4 1/4″
The inside has more of the trees stamped first and then a white strip with the greeting, from the Growth Takes Time set centered.
