Today I’m in the mobile Roost (aka our camper) enjoying a weekend with the kids 4 wheeling. The fall colors are beautiful! Since I woke up early and we’re packed pretty tight in the camper, blogging seemed like a nice, quiet activity until everyone else wakes up. This card seemed like a nice nature inspired one to share while I’m enjoying the outdoors.
The first thing that gets noticed is of course the beautiful owl from the Winter Owls Bundle. The shadowing that Rachael has added is amazing. I’m guessing that she used a sponge dauber to add the color to the edges of the wings.
Looking behind the owl, this gorgeous background is stamped! At first glance I thought it was designer paper, but it has been created using the Fragrant Forest stamp set, The Fragrant Forest stamp is a large background stamp which creates the whole image in one go. Rachael has colored in the ground with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. The greeting is heat embossed with white embossing powder and placed on a die cut from the Bag of Bones Dies.
This card needs to mounted as a piece of art!
