Warm Welcome

As I was looking through the Online Exclusive offerings yesterday, I ran across a past stamp set that has been reintroduced in the Online Exclusives. I hadn’t noticed that it was in there before and thought that I would play with it. I decided to pair it with the Tartan Plaid Designer Series Paper also in the Online Exclusive offering.

For this card, instead of cutting out the door, I used the retired dies to cut out the door from the Tartan Plaid DSP. The door is stamped through the die cut hole with Pecan Pie ink and the greeting is stamped in black.

The inside has a greeting and another image from the set and it was colored with Watercolor Pencils.

My second card uses the same set of products but has a birthday theme. I’ve pulled in a second color of the Tartan Plaid DSP.

The presents are colored with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blend Markers and then Wink of Stella glitter was brushed over them. I love the tiny house numbers from the die set. I didn’t realize at first that the die set wasn’t still available. So I apologize for dangling an unavailable carrot before you, lol.

I just had to get the cute little kitty on one of the cards somewhere!

I hope that these cards inspire you to try something a bit different with a stamp set that you have or to use your die cuts in unique ways.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

P.S. I had to add on another card made only with the stamp set which is available. It’s a simple card using Stampin’ Blend Markers and Watercolor Pencils to add some color.

My inspiration for this card came from a recent photo I took when on a camping/4 wheeling trip with my entire family.

The little shoe stamp reminded me of this pile of shoes in our camper during breakfast.
