Today I’m playing with some of the new stamps that will be available in January. I almost have all of my Christmas cards done and as a treat I opened up my stamps from my preorder.

This new stamp set is called Stippled Rose. I’ve just used the leaf stamp and matching die, just wait until you see the large rose! I found this card layout on page 106 of the Annual Catalog using the Marvelous Nature stamp set.

Here is the card from the catalog. The white embossed greeting definitely shows up better than my stamped one.

My card base is Smoky Slate with a Wild Wheat circle die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies and embossed with the Rope Embossing Folder. The Stippled Rose leaf sprig is stamped with Wild Wheat then die cut with the Stippled Rose dies. I splattered Wink of Stella glitter and then Pebbled Path ink over the card base. The greeting that I used from the Stippled Rose dies was actually stacked instead of in a line, so I masked off the words to make them into a single line.
