Hidden Greeting

Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing a card using the Hooray for Surprises Bundle. The stamp set alone is great, with super cute images and fun greetings BUT combined with the die set it creates fun hidden messages for a little sumthin’ extra.

To create a template for lining up the secret message, cut a piece of copy paper the same size as the designer paper, then layer the DSP and the copy paper together when die cutting the heart (or circle or long pull tab). Then when it’s time to stamp the secret message, just use the copy paper as a positioning tool.

The fun Make a Wish greeting is under the pretty heart. The Pull tab was created with the long die. I just cut a piece of scrap paper and used the end tab to create a larger pull tab for the heart.

The Lighter than Air Designer Series Paper was first cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and then I got a great idea to use the Perennial Postage Dies to create a pretty edge. The greeting is punched out with the Double Oval Punch. The pretty leaves are die cut with other dies from the Hooray for Surprises Die set using Soft Sea Foam cardstock and Nature’s Sweetness DSP. The cute flower embellishments are from the Bee Mine Suite.

Because I changed directions with my card front layer, I ended up with this cool frame of Lighter than Air DSP that worked perfectly on the inside.

Hope you enjoyed this card! Be sure to join me Wednesday in the Creative Chicks Facebook Group for the Robyn and Sandy Facebook Live. We’ll be sharing another card made with the Hooray for Surprises Bundle along with a couple other cards.
