Swap Card Friday

Today’s cards are all about flying things! We start off with a Hot Air Balloon by Rachael Kent.

The Hot Air Balloon Bundle is from the January to April Mini Catalog and the pretty polka dot paper is from the Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper. The circle is die cut with the must have Stylish Shapes Dies. The Banners Pick a Punch was used to create the greeting label and Rachael has wrapped the Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine three times before finishing off with a bow.

This close-up shows some of the detailed dies available in the Hot Air Balloon Die set.

Terry Rajala is the master of slim line cards! I feel like I might have shared this beautiful card before but just in case, I’m posting it here. It’s so pretty! The base is 14″ x 3 1/2″ scored at 6″ and 7″, so I’m not sure where Terry found the 14″ sized card stock.

After seeing these beautiful hearts on Terry’s card, I ordered the Adoring Hearts Bundle and have been glad that I purchased it since. These birds are fussy cut from the Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper which was one of the free items during Sale-a-bration. If I ever get organized I’m going to be offering a class using this beautiful bird inspired paper. The kits will include a half pack of the paper.

My final card for today is a hummingbird from Jo BookHoop Hood using the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle and some of the Softly Stippled Designer Paper from the SAB Event. Jo has left the hummer uncolored for a quick and simple card.

So whether you use the layouts, colors or stamp sets from these three cards, there is sure to be something here to inspire your creativity.
