For the OnStage event this past weekend, Covid had sort of fallen off my radar but after flying with hundreds of people and being around thousands, I shouldn’t have been surprised when one of my group messaged all of us that she wasn’t feeling well, and tested positive. Most of the early symptoms are things that I deal with on a daily basis so I’ll just quarantine and hope for the best. I did have to cancel my card class, which makes me sad because some of the ladies are leaving for home soon and it was our last chance to craft together.
Now I have no excuse not to clean the house or weed the gardens, bummer.

This year demonstrators who attended OnStage had the option of purchasing a kit for an After Hours stamping event. There were three awesome bundles to choose from and I chose the Spotlight on Nature. It was utter chaos and everyone was tired after traveling since early morning. My group had planned on one of us bringing a trimmer and sharing, which didn’t work very well because we ended up being split up. They had WAY TO MANY people at each table and we were working on top of each other.
Hopefully, if they do this event again they change up the plans and have more tables with less people at each table. I have this awesome stamp set and the coordinating dies PLUS a pack of the new In Color paper and gems to play with, so all is good.

I did get most of the stamping done at the event so that I could use the new In-Color inks, and then finished the cards once I returned home. This card uses the Petunia Pop for the butterflies and Shy Shamrock for the leaves. The greeting was done once I got home and is Pecan Pie.

This is the only card that I actually competed at the event. It has a Summer Splash base, Shy Shamrock layer, and Lemon Lime Twist panels. The ink is Pecan Pie and Shy Shamrock.

The panels on this card are done on Watercolor Paper and I did complete the panels at the event, but had to guess where to place them on the 5″ x 7″ Watercolor paper and then cut them once I got home. Luckily, I did good. The butterflies on the Pretty In Pink card base were stamped at home with Berry Bliss ink.

I really like that we got to make this sampler at the event. It’s a great way to see all of the new In Colors at once and compare them to the current colors. Which color is your favorite? I think that the Petunia Pop is going to look great with Fresh Freesia.

As we are all looking forward to the new catalog, don’t count out the retiring products just yet. Remember to get your orders in to take advantage of the Last Chance Sale! The In Color items and discounted ones go fast.
