It’s been a tough week for my family as my Sister-in-law Cathy passed away after many years of struggling with MS. I do have some very pretty swap cards for you today though all using the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.

This card by Cindy Russel is a Easy Step Card as well as the beautiful Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper this card uses the Painted Lavender Bundle and one of the Basic 3D Embossing Folders.

Linda’s card showcases a great way to use all those scrap strips of beautiful designer series paper. She has make a pretty background by alternating the solid backsides of the DSP and the pretty floral fronts. The greeting is from the Notes of Nature stamp set and is done on a label that created with the Hexagon Punch. A single Brushed Brass Butterfly decorates the label.

Next we have a card created by another Linda. This card has 1″ strip cut off of the card front for an overhang look. The greeting is from the Perennial Postage stamp set on labels created with the Something Fancy Die set. The leaves are created with the Painted Lavender Bundle. A single Rhinestone adds some sparkle.

Cathy’s card is another fun fold. The card has 2 1/4″ sliced off of the top fold card base, with a 2 3/4″ square adhered to the front for the greeting. Five of the pretty Purple Fine Shimmer Gems decorate the card. I love the positioning of the gems. The Hope You Know and Painted Lavender stamp sets were used.
I hope you have been inspired by these pretty cards made by some creative ladies! Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by at the Roost.
