Swap Card Friday

I’ve been a bit MIA lately here on my blog. For some reason I’m having a hard time getting settled and caught up on our spring move back to Minnesota. Anyway, I do have two cards to share with you today created by some talented demonstrators. Hopefully, next week I will have some cards that I’ve created to share with you.

This first card, created by Deanna L Price uses the Stippled roses Stamp set and dies. It is a Fun Fold card, the base is 8 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ with a 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ died cut, from the Everyday Details Dies, placed under the roses.

Aren’t these roses beautiful? They are stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock for a very soft feel. The Designer Series Paper on the left side is from the Poetic Expressions DSP pack.

The second card today was created by Becky Meyerhofer. Becky has combined several different products for her card. The base is Pretty Peacock with a Lost Lagoon matte under a pink patterned DSP from the Forever Love pack. I actually chose to showcase these two cards today because they both used the Lost Lagoon color.

The dark floral patterned paper is from the Masterfully Made DSP. A strip of the Gold & Vanilla Satin Ribbon is across the lower half of the card. The pretty floral wreath die cut with the Lifetime of Love Dies was done with Distressed Gold Foil for a subtle sparkle. The scalloped and stitched circle greeting is die cut with the Thoughtful Expressions Dies. Both of these cards have pearls as embellishments.

Although many of the items used on these cards are retired, the layouts are something that can be and they were so pretty that I just had to share them.

Thanks for stopping by at the Roost! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
