Today’s card was created for one of my grandson’s who shares my love of critters. The stamp set used is the Hearts & Hugs set which has four cute critters, the hamster, a mouse, walruses, and badgers.
The stamp set has a set of matching dies, also called Hearts & Hugs and as well as outline dies to cut out the critters, it also has his cool heart semi-circle border.
The hamster is stamped on Pecan Pie cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink and then Wink of Stella is brushed over his fur to make him sparkle. His paws and nose are colored with a Copper Clay Marker.
The white banner greeting needed a pop of color so I added a matte layer strip from the Full of Life Designer Series Paper. The Full of Life DSP is definitely COLORFUL! The gray patterned patter under the hamster is from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper. It reminds me of some of the old linoleum patterns from back in the ’60’s, lol.
