How was your 4th of July holiday? Here in central Minnesota it was soggy, lol. It wasn’t the wettest or the coldest on record but it was right up there in the top 10. We did get in some card playing and a couple of movies. It always amazes me the we can all crowd into our tiny 20′ x 24′ cabin and manage to mostly get along (okay a couple of the brothers were scrapping a bit, thankfully the kids not the adults).

Today I’ve got a birthday card that was sent to me for my birthday by Dawn Olchefski. It uses items from the Unbounded Beauty Suite and the new Summer Splash In-colors.

Isn’t this layout awesome! Here are the cutting dimensions if you want to recreate this design:

• Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• White layer 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Strip 4″ x 1 1/2″
• Matte Layer 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″
• Embossed Layer 3″ x 4″
• DSP 3″ square cut diagonally (enough for 2 cards)
• White label die cut from the Unbounded Love Dies

This card is gorgeous, yet really simple. Classic Dawn O. style. The greeting is popped up with dimensionals and a single rhinestone is added to one flower center on the embossed layer.
