Today I’ve got two cards for you using the Happiest Day stamp set but two talented ladies.
The first card by Lynn Feldkamp uses a piece of the Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper and the Cute Crocket Embossing Folder. The Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink colors create a soft summery card.
The square and the circle are die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I love the use of three different shapes; the rectangle, circle and square.
This gate fold card by Amy Rich has a whole different feel with the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper, Moody Mauve and Early Espresso colors. I think it feels more dramatic, how about you?
Here’s a view of the card opened. Amy has used the Deckled Circle Dies and the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch for the focal image. Some Linen Thread is swirled between the layers and two Adhesive Backed Textured Dots. This is my first in person view of these dots and let me just say, they are way more impressive in person than on a screen or in a photo!
These two cards certainly show how colors and patterns can give a completely different feel to the same image.
