Today’s card celebrates a retirement with a Monochromatic card using the Gone Fishing stamp set and dies.

The card starts with a Crumb Cake base which is 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ for a top fold style card. Surprisingly, the designer series paper layer is from the Perennial Lavender DSP pack. It was hard to cover up the pretty flowers on the other side of the paper but I really liked this pattern too and it was the color I wanted. The DSP layer is 5 1/4″ x 4″.
The greeting labels were cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies, but if you don’t have them the Crumb Cake layer is 1 3/4″ x 3 1/8″ and the Early Espresso layer is 2 1/8″ x 3 1/2″. Early Espresso ink was used for all the stamping.
The Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine is tucked behind the greeting and the fish and adhered with liquid glue when the layers were added.

An extra piece of the DSP was added to the bottom of the inside.
Hope you enjoyed this card and have a great day.
