Holy Cow!

Today I wanted to have a little fun with the Cutest Cows stamp set and Cow Builder Punch, so I combined it with the Outside In Card from yesterday’s post. But, added a twist and made it a portrait card, not an easel.

I wanted to make a fun, cute card in pinks, think girly cows, lol. Maybe my trip to the county fair this past weekend inspired me? The dimensions are all the same as yesterday’s airplane card, except, the narrow 3/4″ tab that holds the main image on is 3″ long with an extra score line which makes the cow wiggle more freely.

The cow is first punched and then stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock. The clear photopolymer stamps make this easy. I’ve used Watercolor Pencils in White, Black, and Melon Mambo to color the cow. I had to color the little heart shaped spot in pink. A single dimensional is used to pop up the cows head.

I’ve used my favorite pattern from the Flowering Zinnia DSP for the front and the reverse side of the same paper for the strip on the inside. Crazy right? My favorite pattern is the white polka dots on pink.
