Today I’ve got two gorgeous cards made with the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Papers. I’ve used two different die sets to create them but this simple design could be made with punches if a die machine wasn’t available.
The first card is a birthday card and uses Blackberry Bliss cardstock and the Deckled Rectangle Dies.
The second card uses Old Olive cardstock and the Perennial Postage Dies. Both cards have greetings from the Unbounded Love stamp set and a pretty Silver & White Ribbon. The bow is done separately and attached with a Glue Dot. The strip of ribbon is attached with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and is only 5 1/4″ long. The center die cuts are popped up with dimensionals.
Approximate Paper Dimensions:
- Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Thoughtful Journey DSP 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Matte layer 3″ x 2 1/4″ on Old Olive card
- Matte Layer 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ on Blackberry card
- Center Die cut 2 3/4″ x 2″ on Old Olive card
- 3 1/8″ x 1 3/4″ on Blackberry card
