With fall in the air (yes, it’s been a bit nippy in the mornings here in Minnesota), I thought I would share a Christmas card. With every new catalog release I purchase WAY TO MANY stamp sets, thinking that I will get lots of samples made to share with you before the catalog is available for everyone to order, then, like now, the catalog goes live tomorrow and I have only handful of cards to share.

This card was created with the Peaceful Season Bundle from page 25 of the Sept to Dec Mini Catalog. It is part of the Season of Elegance Suite which has 2 full Bundles, gems, Designer Paper, ribbon and an embossing folder. I’ve used the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper on this card. I hope everyone purchases a pack! For each pack of the Sentimental Christmas Paper sold, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 towards Children’s Literacy, something close to my heart. Reading opens a whole new world to a person and it’s so important for children to know how to read.

I absolutely love the two dies that created the shadowed word, Christmas! The banner is pretty sweet too! I’ve used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to add a lacy texture to the background layer.

Aren’t the slots in this label die cut so cool? I added a single pearl to the label and threaded some Silver Trim through two of the slots.
