Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin

I got so into this kit that I actually completed the entire kit AND made two videos showing the cards that I made. Video One shows the making of 6 cards using 3 of the card bases from the kit, 2 cards for each of the 3 card designs.

The second video shows the entire 20 cards that came from the kit.

Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Part 2

Here is a photo of three of the first cards that I created. I did two cards from each of the three bases from the kit. They were made pretty much following the directions.

I was obsessed with finishing up all the card bases in the kit. This is what my work table looked like as I pulled out different items to add to the cards, changed my mind and pulled out MORE items, lol. I did have to recharge with a Mt. Dew, lol.

This card used the pieces from the smaller note card. I’ve added in a Very Vanilla card base, Very Vanilla strip for the greeting, three of the Woven Golden Leaves, and a greeting from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set.

I thought I was a real smarty pants for using one of the envelopes to make a gift card holder inside the card. The envelope was a bit too big so, I carefully tore open the envelope and cut out about an inch on either side of the bottom crease, then refolded it and re-attached it with adhesive. The greeting is from the Adoring Hearts stamp set, (not just for Valentine’s Day!).

For this card, I used the Deckled Circle Die to cut a center circle for the greeting on a piece Very Vanilla. An Early Espresso base Very Vanilla liner for the inside were also added to the kit. While a 1″ x 4″ piece from the inside of envelope was placed on bottom.

I absolutely love this greeting from the Autumn Expressions stamp set combined with the branches from the kit stamp set.

Two circles, one of Very Vanilla and one of Cajun Craze were cut with the Deckled Circle dies. The two circles were layered together and then stamped with the branch image from the kit stamp set. Dimensionals were placed between the two circles to pop up the top one. The Copper Clay colored twine comes from the Natural Tones Linen Thread and is adhered with one of the glue dots. The little snail is crawling along on another piece from the inside of one of the square envelopes. The inside of this card was left blank.

This one has a Pecan Pie base and more of the Woven Golden Leaves. The greeting is on another Very Vanilla piece cut with the Deckled Circle Dies. It also has a bow created with the Natural Tone Linen Thread. Another piece of the inside of the envelope was used at the bottom and stamped with the little snail and leaves from the stamp set in the kit. The branch stamp from the kit was also used on the card base. So far all of these cards use only the Cajun Craze ink which was the color included in the kit.

I really did love playing with the branch stamp from the kit!

This card and the next one are made using the kit design but instead of a square note card, I’ve added an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ base of Cajun Craze which is scored at 4 1/4″ A Metal Plate Embossing folder was used to emboss the 1 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Cajun Craze paper that was added at the bottom.

A piece of Very Vanilla 4″ x 5 1/4″ was stamped with more images from the kit stamp set with the Cajun Craze ink.

This card used the back of the card base from the kit, which didn’t have a die cut circle in it, so I used a 2 3/8″ Circle Punch to cut out the circle. It did end up a bit closer to the top edge, but worked fine. The bottom embossed piece on this card was done with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder.

The cute birds on the center of this card are from the Autumn to Remember Scrapbook Kit. A Deckled Circle of Cajun Craze was layered under it and a Copper Clay Natural Tones Linen Thread was placed above. The log rings stamped on the Very Vanilla greeting strip are from the Autumn Expressions stamp set.

These leaves are fussy cut and scraps from the one of the kit card fronts with the log rings were added as a half frame..

For this card, the base from the kit was cut in half and then the entire half was adhered to an Early Espresso base. Just one of the Woven Golden Leaves was added to the pieces from the kit. The greeting is from the Adoring Hearts.

The inside of this card has an added Very Vanilla layer and was stamped with the branch and greeting from the kit in Cajun Craze ink.

Deckled Circle Dies, Autumn Expressions log ring stamp, This card started with a Very Vanilla card base from my paper stack which had the dotted border already stamped on it. I sort of remember working on a card and changing my mind about the border strip but I have no idea which stamp set the dots are from, lol. The background starts with the tree ring images from the Autumn Expressions stamp set, next a piece of the inside of one of the envelopes was laid down. A 1 3/4″ x 5 1/2 piece of the card back from the log ring card from the kit was adhered beside the stamped border dots. The leaves and Cajun Craze strip are pieces from the kit which a Very Vanilla Deckled Circle was added for the greeting.

I added the envelope flap to the inside of the card, but have to add a greeting yet.

The next two cards are create to the kit directions but the card base has been cut in half on the fold to create two card, with only the addition of Very Vanilla card bases. This was the front of the original card.

This was the back of the card base.

For this card I masked off word with from the greeting stamp, for a simple thanks with only one leaf.

This is the one and only Fun Fold in the bunch. The Very Vanilla base is cut 7 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 2 1/2″. The greeting is stamped on layers cut with the Nested Essentials Dies in Basic White and Very Vanilla.

My puzzle card has 20 – 1″ squares cut from the card front with the tree rings. It’s placed on an Early Espresso base and has a Natural Tone Linen Thread bow.

Now for the bright cards! The card base from the kit is cut down to 4″ x 5 1/4″. This one uses Blueberry Bushel paper and ink, with a Very Vanilla strip of stamped leaves. The leaves and the greeting are from the Layers of Beauty stamps.

The inside echoes the front with more leaves and a greeting in Blueberry Bushel ink.

Another Blueberry Bushel card base here, with the kit base cut into three strips that are 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ the other elements on the front are all from the kit.

Once again a greeting from the Autumn Expressions stamp set.

The bright base is Poppy Parade card stock. The original card base was cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Deckled Circles of Poppy Parade and Very Vanilla were used for the greeting, which is stamped with Blueberry Bushel. Some Cajun Craze leaves were stamped on Very Vanilla and fussy cut to add behind the greeting. Swirls of Blue Natural Tone Linen Thread help pull out the blues in the background.

I can almost hear the rustle of wind blown leaves when I look at the inside of the card!

This is made exactly to the directions after cutting the card base in half and down to 4″ x 5 1/4″. This piece was the back of the card base.

A 4″ x 5 1/4″ Very Vanilla layer on the inside is stamped with the branch and greeting from the kit.

This was the front of the card base and I forgot to stamp the branches of this one. It also has a Poppy Parade base.

This last card has a full 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ front layered onto a Very Vanilla card base. The branches and leaves have been stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink, while the greeting is done with the Cajun Craze.

I hope that you have enjoyed seeing these cards as much as I enjoyed making them. I was wishing that I had purchased the Every Celebration Dies which coordinate with this kit, they are still available so I have included a link to them below.
