Today I’ve got a sweet card with a fall apple picking theme. I’m not sure that I’ve ever picked apples in a sun dress, but this is a pretty image from the Warms the Heart stamp set.

The card starts with a Wild Wheat base that is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Next, a 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper was added to the right edge. After the designer series paper was added the front was embossed with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder. I did not fold the card, but ran it through the machine with the card base open and the front only inserted in the folder.

The Basic White layer is 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. The image and greeting is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and then the image is colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers. The Pecan Pie matte is 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and instead of centering the image on the matte it is matched up to the right side and bottom. It is adhered with dimensionals and a Black Baker’s Twine bow is adhered to the corner with a Glue Dot.
