Today I’ve got two very different cards for you which share the same technique. The first card is one that I designed using the Love & Strength stamp set.

The Stylish Shapes circle dies were used to created the layered circles. To begin, the image and greeting were stamped on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of basic white cardstock. Next, the flower was colored with Petunia Pop and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend Markers. Then, the four circle dies were layered onto the paper, centering on the greeting, and then run through the Stamp, Cut & Emboss Machine.

After positioning everything on the Petunia Pop layer the center circle is adhered flat. The next ring has little pieces of Mini Dimensionals to pop it up, for the next layer, a second ring was die cut from Basic White Thick paper, and glued to the back of the ring and then more Mini Dimensional pieces were used. The largest ring was adhered with Foam Strips and the outside rectangle was adhered flat.

The inside uses the mountain image, heart and speckles from the Love & Strength stamp.
The inspiration for this card came from a card kit that I received from my team leader, Dawn Olchefski, which uses paper from the Sweet Days of Autumn Paper Pack.

Dawn’s original design used the Autumn Expressions stamp set which coordinates with the Autumn to Remember scrapbooking kit. I didn’t have that stamp set, so used a greeting from the Autumn to Remember stamp set. This card uses the Nested Essentials Dies.
