For those of us whose pets are family, the loss of a pet hurts deeply and a sympathy card lets us know that our friends care. Today, I have a sweet fur baby sympathy card using the Doggone Friendly stamp set and a greeting from the Quiet Reflection stamp set.

The Doggone Friendly stamp is one large background stamp with lots of different dog breeds represented. For this card, I’ve chosen to color the Golden Retriever with Watercolor Pencils. Watch my Pet Sympathy Video Tutorial to see this card created. I actually used two different pencil colors, Daffodil Delight and Cajun Craze and blended them with a Blender Pen.

Deckled Circle Dies were used to spotlight the colored dog. Pebbled Path matts were layered under both the spotlit image and the greeting. Three Sparkle Gems are placed around the circle.
