I hope you find all treats and no tricks! Today’s card was my sample card for the Creative Chicks Facebook Group Mystery Stamping game from yesterday. The technique was to create patterned paper by stamping on a card base.

This layout is taken from page 22 of the annual catalog, It the second to last layout on the first row. I’ve actually pulled stamps from three different sets to create this card. The date is from the Halloween Memories stamp set which is found in the online Scrapbooking Brochure, the log and leaf are from the Autumn Expressions stamp set, and the bubbles and greeting are from the Potions & Spells set.

The Baker’s Twine on this card has been colored with Gorgeous Grape ink using a sponge dauber but I think that black twine would look good too.
Mix and match and use what you have to create a fun patterned background.
Paper Dimensions:
- Pumpkin Pie 3″ x 2 1/4″
- Gorgeous Grape 4″ x 1 3/4″ with the ends flagged in about 3/4″
- Lemon Lime Twist 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
If you would like to play along with the Mystery Stamping Game, join the Creative Chicks Facebook Group and watch for the next supply list. We have games on Wednesdays at noon on weeks when I don’t have classes, so 2 or 3 times a month.
Today is the last day to take advantage of the Starter Kit Special and Kit Sale!
