Is baking cookies part of your Christmas routine? My childhood Christmas memories include all sorts of fun cookies like roll out sugar cookies, peanut butter stars, rosettes, ginger snaps etc… We did cut outs of gingerbread men with roll out cookies but I rarely remember making actual gingerbread cookies. I have been having some fun baking up these paper gingerbread stars with the Sweetest Star Bundle.

I love how the ‘cookies’ look so real using the Pecan Pie cardstock and white embossing powder. Plus, they are so easy to make with the star punch! This guy is popped up with dimensionals on a 3″ x 5 1/2″ (get two strips from a 6″ x 6″ paper, plus a strip for inside, YAY!) piece of the Iconic Celebrations DSP. The base is crumb cake.

For this inside, another design of the Iconic Celebrations was used and I’ve grabbed a greeting from the Peaceful Season stamp set.
