Swap Card Friday

Happy cold morning! Today I’ve got two pretty cards for you. Yesterday, no blog post, but we rode up to our cabin to check the heater and YAY! it was working. If it hadn’t been I probably would have still been there cleaning up the mess, lol. When we got home, we did some elf work, creating boxes for weird shaped presents (hubby) and getting them wrapped. I had just enough wrapping paper, (here I thought I had enough to last my life time, hehehe). Anyway, on to cards…

This pretty in pink thank you card by Brenda Cardinal uses the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set. The stitched die cuts are from the Nested Essentials Die set. The Painted Textures Embossing Folder created the background (I think this is on the retiring list). I love the pop of Mossy Meadow on the die cut and leaves.

Angela Meyer has created a pocket card with a cute bookmark. Angela used the Cute Crocket Embossing Folder for her background and matted it with a thin Lost Lagoon layer.

The little tab on top is created with the Keeping Tabs Bundle. It can be purchased either with a punch or with a die, how cool is that! The die cut flower is from the Thoughtful Wishes Dies. I love how Angela used the stamp from the Keeping Tabs set to make the border on the bottom of the pocket. The greeting on the bookmark is from the Labeled with Love stamp set, which also has the option of bundling with either a punch or a die.

This shows the back of the bookmark and you can see how the tab folds over.

Hope you have been inspired by these two cards! Have a great day, stay warm, and thanks for stopping by the Roost.
