For the winter season I’m offering a Quick & Cute Card class on Monday afternoons here at Saddlebag Lake Resort, in Lake Wales, Florida. These are the cards from last week’s class. All of January we will focusing on Valentine’s or love themed cards.

This first card uses the Bee My Valentine stamp set and Bee Builder punch which can be found on page 75 of the Annual Catalog. The background was stamped with an image from the Elements of Text, Online Exclusive stamp set. A 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of vellum overlays the text. The greeting is stamped in Crushed Curry on 1/2″ x 4″ piece of Basic White. A smattering of Sparkle Gems finish off the front.

The inside is completed with more of the Bee My Valentine stamps and some 1/2″ x 3″ strips of designer paper. This card features the retired Be Mine DSP but if you check out the new Online Scrapbooking Brochure you will find a very similar paper called Cute as Can Bee. The Cute as Can Bee paper features Basic Black, Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petunia Pop, and Pool Party, so it’s a bit more subtle than the paper used here.

Our next card features a beaver from the Fluffiest Friends Bundle. He is simply stamped on Pecan Pie paper, die cut and his sticks are colored with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker. The greeting is done in Real Red ink and comes from the Adorning Hearts stamp set. This die cut heart is from a very long retired set but the new Hearts of Elegance Dies would work well.
Tip: the beaver is stamped and die cut from the center of the 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ Pecan Pie matte layer.

The inside of the card uses the Heart Shaped stamp set which is one of the $120 level SALE-A-BRATION items.

The final card uses a heard die cut on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White which is popped up with dimensionals on a Thick Basic White base. A 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ square of pretty foiled paper is adhered to the card base before the stamped and die cut layer is added. The greeting is from the Bee My Valentine set. It’s topped off with some Rainbow Dots.

The inside has a greeting from the Heart Shaped SAB test with a stamped heart from the Documenting the Day SAB stamp set.
I hope that you can find some inspiration here. Sometimes I find that I want to make easy cards, and all three of these fall into the easy category. Have a wonderful day and be sure to smile and say hello to someone who looks like they are having a bad day.
I’ve added in available products for the items that I mentioned are retired, in case you don’t have something that will work in your crafting stash.
