Today’s cards are from my Quick & Cute Cards class. I started with two past Paper Pumpkin Kits. (Do any of you have piles of orange boxes?) I feel soooo guilty for leaving them sit unused…

My first cards starts with a 3 1/2″ x 5″ gift card holder from the January 2018 Heartfelt Love Notes. I’ve adhered the gift card holder to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Flirty Flamingo to create a panel card. A corner rounder punch was used to round the top corners of the Flirty Flamingo panel to match the gift card holder.
The velum heart, large greeting label, gems, and ribbon were all part of the original Heartfelt Love Notes Paper Pumpkin Kit. The greetings and little bees come from the I’ll Bee Yours January 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Flirty Flamingo ink was used for the greetings.

The inside has this cute little scalloped note card to write a message.

This next card was created with more items from the I’ll Bee Yours January 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. The pretty foiled pouch on the front is actually a treat bag which I’ve attached to an 11″ x 4 1/4″ card base which is scored at 5 1/2″. The heart is from the Retired Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper and then punched with a Scalloped Heart Punch. White Linen Thread is tied in a bow through the holes in the flap. A glue dot holds the flap closed. It can easily be opened to insert some cash or a gift card. The little flowers on the corners are done with Coastal Cabana ink, while the greeting is done in Tuxedo Black. Some small rhinestones are added to some of the flowers for some more sparkle.

The final card uses more supplies from the I’ll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin. It’s done in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape colors. I absolutely love the heart stamp with the words as part of the outline! The two purple hearts have been stamped with the large background stamp from the kit with Gorgeous Grape ink. Some of the hearts in the kit were preprinted with white flowers and we used those in class too. I’ve added a little piece of silver ribbon and some Purple Shimmer Gems. A watercolor wash of Highland Heather ink was added with a Watercolor Painter to the background.
Most of the products used on these cards are no longer available to purchase but you can always subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and get a new kit each month. With a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription you will earn Sale-a-Bration items!
I hope that these card layouts inspire you to create some beautiful handmade cards. Have a great day.
