Today we have two cards using the Friendly Seagulls stamp set which is one of the items that is free with a $60 order during Stampin’ Up!s Sale-a-bration Event.
The first card was created by Kathleen Chapman, isn’t this cute? I’m sure coming from Duluth, Minnesota Kathleen sees lots of these guys.
I particularly like the way that Kathleen has created the sand using a piece of designer paper from the Free Toadstool Gardens DSP (another Sale-a-bration item) The bird on the left is stamped with his feet in the sand. The other bird is stamped on a separate piece of paper and fussy cut.
Here are the paper dimensions:
- Misty Moonlight top fold base 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Boho Blue 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″
- Pebbled Path 3 1/4″ x4 1/4″
- Basic White 3″ x 4″
- Boho Blue 2 1/4″ x 3/4″
- Basic White 2″ x 1/2″
The second card was created by Becky Edson and features a bright Coastal Cabana layer embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder. The Friends of the Ocean DSP with the bright starfish has been die cut with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. The Seagull is stamped on another shape cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.
The greeting is stamped on a piece of Lemon Lime Twist and the little French fry box has been colored and then fussy cut.
These two cards show all three of the fun seagulls from the set. There are also images of flying birds, fish, sea shells and sand, as well as the French fry box.
