Flip Flop Fun Fold Valentine

Fun Fold cards make great Valentine’s and today I’ve got another Bee card with a video tutorial to help explain how to make it.

Flip Flop Fun Fold Valentine Video Tutorial

The card starts with an 11″ x 4 1/4″ top fold card base (scored at 5 1/2″).

Two cardstock flaps are adhered to the back of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper.

  • Flap One is 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ scored at 3 1/4″
  • Flap Two is 4″ x 3″ scored at 3″

A 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4′ square of Basic White creates an area to add a greeting on the inside of the smaller flap. The images on this card are from the Bee My Valentine stamp set.

The inside has a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Basic White which is decorated with 3/4″ strips of the DSP.

Here is a version using black mattes and a different pattern of the DSP. The larger flap has a 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ square of DSP layered onto a 3″ x 3″ matte of cardstock. The bee is created using the Bee My Valentine stamp set and Bee Builder Punch.

Here is another view of the card opened up.

The honeycomb and bee die cuts come from the cute little Spring is in the Air Die set which is a Paper Pumpkin Add On, but you can purchase it even if you don’t subscribe. The bee body (from the Bee Builder Punch) makes a great word bubble. I’ve added three of the little Gold Heart Sequins, I love the flat embellishments!

The heart and the bee’s antenna are created with the Meant to Bee stamp set and dies. These two sets work really well together.

Keep in mind that during Sale-a-bration you get a free item for each $60 purchase. Check your order totals before completing to make sure you don’t miss out by just a few dollars!
