Happy Monday! I hope that you had a great weekend! I know I did. I got to go shopping with two girlfriends on Saturday and we had a great time. On Sunday I got some gardening done that I’ve been putting off and my flower bed looks great and my husband got our new gazebo put up on our deck.
Today I’ve got a pretty butterfly card in soft colors with lots of texture using the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder.
If this card looks familiar, it might be because I’ve CASED it from page 38 in the mini catalog. I’ve used a Whisper White Thick card base and adhered a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper to the front.
A 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White has been embossed with the Beautiful Butterflies Embossing Folder. Then a butterfly with both embossed and die cut with the same embossing folder from another piece of the Beautiful Bokeh DSP. A Basic Black body was die cut with the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. The greeting is stamped in Balmy Blue on Basic White and then layered onto another piece of the Beautiful Bokeh DSP. Multiple colors of Rainbow Dots are added.
The butterfly is only adhered in the center so his wings are free to look like he is ready to fly off the card.
I hope that you enjoyed this card. The Beautiful Bokeh DSP has several different color combo to make many of these cards in various colors.
