I’ve got two cards to share today, both of which were cards designed for classes that I teach.
This first card has a 2 1/2″ square of Basic Beige with a heart stamped on it with Basic Beige ink. The thank you is done in black ink, then a foil die cut heart is adhered over it. (I’ve used a retired green foil on this card) A piece of Adhesive Sheet was added to the back of the foil before die cutting to make it quick to adhere. This layer is adhered with dimensionals.
The Timeless Plaid Designer Paper is 3″ x 5 1/2″ has a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ matte of Mossy Meadow under it. Some little leaves are stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink on the Soft Sea Foam card base.
The Gold Open Weave Trim was wrapped around the Designer Paper and glued on the back. Three Sparkle Gems finish off the card.
The inside of the card is decorated with a scrap strip of the DSP and another die cut from the scrap piece from the inside of the heart.
The pretty heart from the Heart Shaped Dies also worked great for decorating this belly band on a Tri-Fold card which has the corners nipped off. To create a Tri-Fold card start with a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ base scored at 2 1/8″ from both sides. The white pieces which are 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ are embossed with the Timeless Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.
