Hello! Today I have a card with a watercolor wash background in two different colors. The green and yellow version was designed for my February Cards in the Mail Club. Each month I design six cards for the club. Four of the designs get used for card kits, members get packets for two each of the four chosen designs. Members get detailed instructions with photos for all six of the cards. If you are interested in joining the club contact me at rrasset@frontier.com.

Here is the first card that I designed using a yellow and green color theme. The Lemon Lolly ink was added to the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with the largest brush from the Watercolor Painters set. After leaving the paper dry, the greetings were stamped with Garden Green and Pecan Pie. If you notice in the stamp set, the Lots of Love greeting doesn’t have the word YOU in front of it. I added the YOU by taping off one of the other greetings and only inking the word you.
The brown strip is from the Floral Delight Designer Paper and is 1/2″ x 5″ with the 1/8″ Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon wrapped around it. The bow is tied separately and added with a glue dot. The Brass Hearts finish off the card.

Here’s the blue version of the card. The strip under the ribbon is from the Floral & Gingham Vellum. You can see this card being created in my
