Beautiful Butterflies on a Watercolor Background

This watercolor technique uses Stampin’ Write Markers, a large clear block, a spritzer, and Fluid 100 Watercolor paper. Each card will be unique and special. I love techniques that create such personalized cards!

For this card, Daffodil Delight ink was scribbled diagonally across Clear Block F and then Coastal Cabana ink was scribbled on both corners. The Fluid 100 Watercolor paper was spritzed until wet and the inked block was also spritzed before it was applied to the paper.

The butterflies were stamped with Tuxedo Black before the paper was completely dry. The greeting was stamped after the paper was dry. Choose how long to wait to stamp the images depending on the desired effect. The drier the paper the sharper the image. The dots were added after, when the gems were applied.
