I’ve been trying to catch up on my scrapbook! The main word here is trying, lol. I do a scrapbook for each of my seven grandchildren and although I do better at keeping up on these than I did when my four kids were little, I’m never caught up. The worst thing now is that I can’t remember all those cute things that they say or do, when I wait too long. In August my oldest grandson turned 13. Around that same time, I snapped this photo of him making a goofy face and I thought it would be perfect for a teenager page.

My scrapbook pages are pretty simple. I focus mostly on the photos. The base paper for this page is a retired designer series paper. I thought it gave a jungle feel to the wild teenager look, lol.
The letters are die cut from the Alphabet ala mode set which I picked up for free during Sale-a-bration. SCORE!! I had thought about getting these dies several times but talked myself out of it because I have several letter and number dies, but this one is a way different font.
Stampin’ Up! has been releasing some updates as a new catalog season draws near. Cardstock prices are increasing about 25% and the 8 1/2″ x 11″ Thick Basic White is going away. If I understand correctly it will be available as 12″ x 12″. I’m a bit sad about this change but confident that I can work around it.
Ordering will be a bit different as we move to the new rewards program. Because of some financial laws regarding credit card safety, demonstrators will no longer be able to have access to customer’s credit card information. This means that you (customer) will need to place the order directly, online. Each order over $20 will get 10% of the purchase price in rewards to use on the next order (or save for up to a year). The half price item for orders over $450 is also going away. I don’t know about you but I’ve only used that incentive about 3 times in 15 years, so I don’t see this as a big loss.
I hope that these changes will work smoothly for all of us. If you are upset about your order or the order process, let me know and we will work it out.
Thanks for stopping by The Roost!
