The cards in this kit are so darn cute that they don’t really need any tweaking but of course we stampers have to put our own twist on EVERYTHING!

The card on the left is made exactly to the directions, and I love it! So much so, that I merely CASED the card to create the one on the right. I’ve used Basic Beige for the base, panel and tag. The pretty image is from the Splendid Autumn DSP and the die cuts are from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Again, the card on the left is per the kit directions. For the alternate card, I cut the card base into 4 pieces each 2 1/8″ x 5 1/2″. I did trim another 1/4″ off the daisy piece and matted it with a 2 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock. The Lemon Lolly base is stamped with the large honeycomb stamp with Crushed Curry ink. The greeting is stamped with Mossy Meadow ink on one of the labels from the kit.

The bee is created with stamps from the kit. There are actually 3 stamps to create the bee. The outline was stamped with Tuxedo Black, The stripes with Crushed Curry and the wings with Basic Beige. Wink of Stella was brushed over it and it was fuss cut.

For my last card, I really went outside the box, lol. The card on the left is the kit one. The card on the right was created with one of the envelopes.

The card base is a 5 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Basic Beige scored at 4 1/4″ and 8 1/2″. (I did have to trim off just a smidge to get the card to fold properly.) The inside piece is the front of the envelope, trimmed to fit. Approximately 4″ x 5 3/8″l.

The front of the card uses the flap from the envelope along the top fold. At the bottom is a 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Basic Beige embossed with the Cute Crochet Embossing Folder. A little tag of Basic White and a Silver Foil key are die cut with the Tags To Go Dies. Some Baker’s Twine holds the card closed.
Hope you have enjoyed this month’s kit. Have you logged in to the new Paper Pumpkin home on the Stampin’ Up! website? I think it’s going to be great once everyone gets switched over and set up.
Did you know that if you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber you can purchase refills while supplies last? The refills don’t include stamps or ink but does come with all the paper bits, envelopes, and embellishments.
