Swap Card Friday

Today I’ve got two quick and cute cards using the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper and another super neat card which uses some retired products.

This simple card by Dena Lineman uses the large Simple Birthday stamped on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock which is 4 3/8″ x 2 3/4″. It is matted on a piece of Misty Moonlight which is 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. A white ribbon is knotted and adhered on the back.

The 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Timeless Plaid is mounted on Boho Blue card base.

Here’s another quick and cute card, this one was created by Sandy Carlson. The greeting is from the With You In Mind which features four large greeting and five fun images. It starts with a Basic White base. Next is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ matte of Boho Blue. The Timeless Plaid DSP strips are 3 7/8″ x 2″ and 3 7/8″ x 1″.

This card by Karen Titus was created with products that are no longer available but it’s a sweet easel card and I really wanted to share the directions.

The card starts with a standard 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base scored at 4 1/4″.

Next, cut a slot from the fold to the outside of the card front, 1 1/4″ in from the edge on each side. Adhere the narrow flaps to the back of the card.

Score the center flap at 2 1/8″ to create the pop up easel piece.

DSP strips are 1″ x 4″.

White panel on center pop up is 2 7/8″ x 4″.

Inside panel is 2 3/4″ x 4″.

Die cut an oval or similar shape and pop up with dimensionals to hold the card open.

Decorate the front with stamped images or die cuts.
